Our group will meet at Ben Gurion Airport at 9:30 a.m., then head north to understand the impact that the war has had on Northern Israel’s residents and soldiers. After a lunch stop in Caesarea and an opportunity to meet each other, we will travel to Kuneitra for an insider’s look at the IDF counterterrorism activity inside Syria. From there we will visit the Druze community of Majdal Shams, where 12 children were tragically killed by a Hezbollah missile. We will meet with representatives of the community. Late dinner at our hotel.

Overnight: Gomeh Hotel, Migdal

After an early hotel breakfast, participants will choose from either a morning hike or local agricultural volunteering. We will head to Jerusalem in the afternoon. In the evening, we will volunteer with SAHI (Special Hessed Unit), delivering food anonymously to needy families.

Following breakfast, we will head to Kfar Truman to meet with wounded IDF soldiers at Beit Ha’Achim. In the afternoon, we will joyfully join the hundreds of Ramah shlichim gathering for their first day of training (not to be missed!). Dinner will be at Balinjera Ethiopian restaurant, where we will meet with members of the Ethiopian community and understand the specific challenges they are currently facing.

Overnight: Kfar Maccabiah Hotel, Ramat Gan

After an early breakfast with the shlichim, participants will choose to either volunteer or visit Nova and other memorial sites in the Gaza Envelope. Following lunch in Sderot, we will return to Kfar Maccabiah for a magical Shabbat with our shlichim. Expect joyful tefillot, camp style (boisterous!) spirited meals, meaningful discussions, and plenty of excitement. You will be moved by our mishlachat’s passion and idealism.

Our Shabbat will include tefillot, beautiful experiences with our shlichim, and time together as a group. All meals will be at Kfar Maccabiah. Following havdalah and dancing, we will offer an optional evening program.
