Reflections on Our Year

This year reminded us, once again, of the extraordinary strength and heart of the Ramah community. Even in a time marked by uncertainty and global challenges, our campers, staff, parents, shlichim, and alumni showed resilience, generosity, and deep commitment to Am Yisrael. Across North America and Israel, Ramah remained a source of joy, purpose, and belonging for thousands of young people.

More than 11,000 participants experienced the power of Ramah this summer, and thousands more engaged with our year-round programs. Whether on our campuses, in communities across North America, or in Israel, Ramahniks continued to learn, lead, and lift one another.

This year, the National Ramah Commission (NRC) raised over $3.8 million to support affordability, mental health for campers and staff, Tikvah, college-age staff travel to Israel, and year-round fellowships and training programs. When the Iran-Israel war prevented hundreds of teens from traveling, our movement mobilized quickly and creatively, ensuring that every participant remained engaged and supported. When travel to Israel reopened, we were the first movement to send our children. This is Ramah.

The NRC is also nearing completion of a comprehensive strategic planning process that will guide our priorities for the years ahead. This work strengthens collaboration across our movement and ensures that Ramah continues to meet the evolving needs of our community, now and for generations to come.

All of this is possible because of our partners: foundations, philanthropists, alumni, and friends who believe so deeply in the transformative power of Ramah. Your support enables us to dream boldly, act decisively, and care for our community with intention and integrity.

As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with gratitude and pride for what we have accomplished together. Ramah continues to be a vibrant, inclusive, joyful home, one that nurtures Jewish identity, inspires leadership, and strengthens our collective future. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in this work, and for helping to ensure that Ramah remains a guiding light for the next generation.
