Our Team
Arnie Harris
Immediate Past Board Chair
Arnie is honored to continue his volunteer service to the Ramah Movement. Arnie started as a volunteer for Ramah Wisconsin in the late 1990s. While he never attended a Ramah camp, he likes to say he married into Ramah. Arnie's wife Nina, a clinical social worker, is a lifelong Ramahnik, first as a camper, then on Seminar, and on staff. Subsequently, Nina has been working at Ramah Wisconsin as an adult staff member every summer since 1999. With Nina on the professional team, Arnie ventured into a volunteer board role and eventually to president of Ramah Wisconsin from 2011-2015. Arnie then joined the NRC Executive Committee, finally serving as its president from 2022-2025.
Professionally, Arnie was the CEO of a call center business. A licensed attorney, Arnie is now retired. Arnie and Nina's adult children are Jonah and his wife, Dr. Maya Feldman, who live in Chicago, along with their son, Noam, born in early 2025; and Shira, who lives in New York City. Arnie and Nina are active in Jewish philanthropy through their family foundation, supporting Ramah camps, Jewish day schools, Federation, and synagogues.
