Michael Chartock
Member, Executive Committee
National Ramah Commission Officers

Michael Chartock attended Camp Ramah in Wisconsin in the 1970s. After returning to camp for his edah's 25th reunion, he reconnected with the important work of the camp, with the Ramah movement, and with the incredible professional and lay leadership teams involved. From 2004–2020, Michael served on the executive committee and board of Ramah Wisconsin. Prior to becoming disabled in 2021 and prematurely leaving the professional world, Michael served in various roles with Gordon Brothers Group in Boston for 20 years, including stints as a member of the executive, investment, and operations committees, as general counsel, and as a divisional president. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers, Michael spent 10 years as a lawyer in private practice and for The Neiman Marcus Group, and as an active volunteer for several Jewish non-profits.

Michael lives in Boston and the Berkshires with his wife, Amy (a former Camp Ramah in Canada camper and staff member), and is a graduate of Brandeis University and the Cornell University School of Law. Michael and Amy have two adult children.
