Lee Rosen, MD
Chair, Israel Programs Committee
National Ramah Commission Officers

Like so many, Lee Rosen is a lifelong Ramahnik, dating back to weekends and summers at Ramah California in Ojai. He claims that everything he needed in life, he originally learned as a rosh edah! From there, he was a camp doctor bringing his young family back to Ojai, watching their own journeys unfold. He has been a board member and most recently served as board chair, with interests in strategic planning, board and community development, supporting our amazing professionals locally and in Israel, and dreaming of expanding Ramah's outreach. He has been also fortunate to participate in the National Ramah Commission (NRC) on the Presidents' Council and now on the Executive Committee, working with the Israel program staff.

Professionally, Lee is a professor of Medicine/Hematology-Oncology at the UCLA Medical School, where he sees patients, directs the Cancer Therapy Development Program designed to test new ways of treating cancers, and works in medical education, administration, and strategic planning.

Together, Lee and his wife Rachel, a children's television writer/producer, have eight amazing children and a grandson. Nearly all have attended Ramah Ojai; several have gone on Ramah Seminar and have been rashei edot. Their connections to the Ramah community and Israel strengthen and expand in their personal and professional lives. We couldn't be prouder of them and their partners and look forward to sharing with others the "Journey for a Lifetime" that Ramah can bring.
