Bank & Interim Reconciliations

  • Reconcile bank, merchant, and credit card processor statements directly against the Bookkeeper's deposit log

  • Perform interim reconciliations on a regular basis (bank, receivables, payables, Salesforce/CampMinder) rather than waiting for month-end, so discrepancies surface while still correctable

Treasury Activities

  • Cash management

Month-End Close Management

  • Maintain a monthly close calendar with defined deadlines for each activity, targeting a 10-15 day close

  • Prepare a close checklist and variance summary for Camp leadership at each month-end, flagging any items past deadline or unresolved

  • Track and report the actual number of days-to-close each month, with root-cause notes for delays

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Recommend and help implement process improvements across accounting systems and workflows to strengthen internal controls, accuracy, and efficiency

Audit & Compliance Support
