Calling All Cantors
Cantor Jack Chomsky

Dear Colleagues:

Please consider the possibility of visiting your regional Camp Ramah this summer.  Several hazzanim have developed very special relationships with the leadership of various different camps around the country -- and had a great opportunity to work with some of our future leaders in a unique way.

If you are willing to devote your time and energy -- see what's happening at our movement's camps -- and see what you can do to contribute your talent and love of tefillah and the people who pray -- please contact the Ramah Camp in your region -- or the national office.

Please note -- the Camp cannot necessarily accommodate a full week or 2-week visit.  What's most important is to start building the relationship.  After you see what's happening at your region's Camp and what you might be able to contribute, there's much more incentive -- on both sides -- to arrange longer stays.

To inquire about visiting a Ramah camp this summer, please e-mail ramah@jtsa.edu or call the National Ramah office at 212-678-8881.
